The Regional Office in Cairo of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization held a training course on “Verification and Validation of Test Methods and Measurement Uncertainty Assessment According to the Requirements of the ISO 17025: 2017 Standard”, which was held at the headquarters of the regional office of the organization in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, during the period from 2-5 February 2025 for the benefit of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company and El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals. The course was supervised by Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Halawa, Professor of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Standardization and Calibration – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The training course aims to introduce the subject of verification and validation of testing and calibration.
