The Regional Office in Cairo of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining (AIDSMO) concluded today the training program on Concepts, Applications, and Benefits of Green Buildings, in line with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) system and the Green Pyramid Rating System (GRBS) for industrial institutions.

The training was held at the Regional Office in Cairo from 8 to 11 September 2025, and was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Gamal Kafafi, President of the World Green Economy Council.

The program covered several key topics, including:

• Introduction to green buildings and fundamental concepts of green industrial facilities.
• Energy and water systems.
• Site selection and planning.
• Mechanisms for using sustainable materials.
• Stages of green project development.

At the conclusion of the program, participants were thanked for their engagement, and certificates of attendance were awarded to them, along with a certificate of appreciation presented to the expert lecturer in recognition of his efforts.
