The industrial sector at the level of Arab countries plays a fundamental role in developing and supporting the Arab economy and contributing to the development of other economic activities, through investing natural resources and transforming them into goods and services that meet the needs and desires of all members of society. Industrial development in all sectors of industry requires working to develop and preserve the human element and provide a work environment that complies with international standards. In this context, institutions of all sizes and types face external and internal factors and influences that make them vulnerable to a group of risks that may hinder the achievement of their goals. Opportunities and threats are part of the reality of all institutions, and there is no institution or company that can operate in a risk-free environment. Every institution that seeks to achieve its goals finds itself exposed to some risks and is forced to deal with the cases it encounters, by identifying the risk, analyzing it, and setting the necessary controls so that it remains within acceptable standards. Therefore, the institution that wishes to survive and grow must work to excel and distinguish itself by adopting a new philosophy based on the concepts of managing the risks of equipment, machinery, and the work environment in industrial companies and institutions, and how to apply modern scientific methods to inspect products by selecting samples since planning to set Inspection plans in light of new global opportunities and challenges.

Based on the role played by the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization in supporting industrial and economic development in Arab countries and working to raise the competitiveness of industrial products by developing the capabilities and skills of Arab human cadres, and in this context comes the preparation for holding this specialized workshop in the field of (product inspection by selecting samples through the application of international standard specifications ISO/BS/MILSTD).
