كما تختص المنظمة بمعاونة الدول العربية الأعضاء بالوسائل المتاحة لها في تذليل العقبات التي تعترض طريقها في مجال التصنيع والتعدين ووضع المواصفات والمقاييس وضبط الجودة وغيرها من الأنشطة المتعلقة بالإنتاج الصناعي والتعدين.
من أهداف المنظمة
- التنسيق والتكامل الصناعي العربي والإسهام في تنمية وتطوير الصناعة في الوطن العربي.
- تعضيد قدراته في مجالات الصناعة والطاقة والتعدين والمواصفات والمقاييس بما يعزز تطوير الإنتاج والإنتاجية.
- التخطيط لدعم وإقامة المشروعات الصناعية على المستويين القطري والقومي.
- العمل على وضع المواصفات القياسية العربية لتحقيق الجودة والإتقان للمنتجات العربــية وتسهيل تبادلها.
- تشجيع التعاون بين الدول العربية وبينها وبين الدول النامية والدول المتقدمة في هذه المجالات، وذلك في إطار إستراتيجية العمل الاقتصادي العربي المشترك التي تقرها مؤتمرات القمم العربية.
